I grew up mostly in the 80′s. Which means that I already have done neon before. For my 5th grade graduation… I had a tiered ruffle skirt in neon pink, green, and blue. It was pretty hot with my mullet-like haircut. (Neither mom and I felt we had the time to brush it in 5th grade… so it was short.)
So needless to say, I’m a little hesitant to jump on the neon bandwagon. But it is a LOT of fun for summer, and as long as you are not head-to-toe neon, I think this trend can look good. I’ve brought together a few things that I would wear. As always, click the picture for the website to shop.
An easy place to add some neon is your fingernails! I recommend using a white base coat with all neon colors!

This is super cute, it incorporates the peplum hem, which is super popular right now. Again, this with some cute black short would not be overkill. But put it with iced denim, and it’s an 80′s overload!!
