I hope you know that the August Birthstone is Peridot.  Which I used to call snot green.  But I have a new found LURV for my birthstone.  It’s a really vibrant spring green.  It goes well with a lot of different looks and colors.

The earrings I am sporting are a find from Macy’s, when I used to work at Lush.  I worked right next to the jewelry counter.  Which made perusing for jewels a small hobby.  The counter changed over who they had their jewelry supplied from, so a lot of older items went on MAJOR clearance.  These spoke to me, called my name…  and kinda matched the Lush logo I sported on my apron!

I just LURV the look of these. (Do I have pretty ears?)

They are long and dangly, and the stones are cut, but in varying sizes, so there is a lot of texture.

How could I turn those suckers down? On clearance and with a store discount… I couldn’t NOT get them.

Sadly, they are no longer available. However, I have done some scouting and found OTHER peridot looks.  You know, just in case you wanted to get a birthday present for me or something.  Or for someone else,  I guess.  Maybe YOUR birthday is August, and you need to treat yourself!
