As I mentioned in my last post, I was visiting my parents over the weekend!

My sister and I hit the mall for some nail work (I got a pedi and she got a mani) and some shopping.  She was put on a list for 40% off at Rue 21. As a belated birthday present, she said she’d let me pick out something.  Well…  a lot of the clothing in the store is a little too young for me.  I saw a few things that were maybes… but then we hit the jewelry area. BINGO! $1 items!!

These earrings are one of the dollar picks!  They are silver hoops with black wooden beads and one jeweled bead in the middle.  Did I mention they were $1???

They look heavy, but are surprisingly light!

I just lurv the jeweled bead! Makes it so much prettier!

These will be in heavy rotation, I’m guessing!

So here is my little shopping nugget of truth…  Always check out the clearance section.  EVEN if it is a teeny-bopper store.  You NEVER know what you might find.

I did not see a clearance section online at Rue 21, but here are some of the fun earrings I found today.  But if you have one NEAR you, go check it out!

I felt very 80′s today, and these earrings fit that description PERFECTLY! $7.99

So my hair is redder and shorter right now, and with my striped top and big earrings, I felt a little like Pat Benatar today.  My husband even said the same thing when he got home.
